Our migration service covers the transfer of all essential website components, including website files, databases, and email mailboxes. If you’re migrating from a cPanel environment, you can transfer your entire account, including all cPanel passwords, mailboxes, databases, and files. We take a comprehensive approach to migration, ensuring that all your important data is securely transferred to our platform.

Important Notes: Things to Keep in Mind

• Licences: You are responsible for managing any licences for plugins, themes, or other third-party software that you use on your website.
• Backups: We recommend backing up your website data and files before initiating a migration request, just to be safe.
• Post-Migration Review: After the migration, please take some time to review your content and ensure everything is working as expected before cancelling any third-party hosting services.
• Technical Issues: While we’ll do our best to resolve any issues during the migration, we cannot guarantee solutions for all technical problems.
• DNS: If your DNS is not hosted with Halls Hosting, you are responsible for updating your DNS records during the migration window.
• Manual Migrations: If your migration requires a complex or manual process, a standard migration fee of £25 per website will be charged.
• External Migrations: We do not offer migration services for customers who are leaving Halls Hosting.
• Changes: Please refrain from making any changes to your website during the migration period to avoid potential data loss.
• Sensitive Information: We’ll need your username/email address and password to complete your migration request. Any sensitive data provided will be safeguarded in compliance with UK data protection laws.
